It is that time of year again, October 31, 2012, for Snapshot Day at the El Paso Public Libraries where each year statistics, stories and images of the library and patron are collected. Here the Ysleta patrons are shown working attentively to their studies, research, internet inquiries and reading their preferred book of the moment.

Do you like bugs?  Do you like stories?  Do you like bugs, and stories, and crafts?  If so, join us here at the Sergio Troncoso Public Library for a very special creepy-crawly story time presented by the El Paso Zoo ! Like all library story times, this event is free and open to the public!  On Wednesday, October 9 at 2 pm here at the Sergio Troncoso Public Library, there will be  BUGS! We'll read stories about bugs, make bug crafts, and visit with some real live insects!   See you this Wednesday!

Join us this  Tuesday ,  November 5th  at  5 pm , as we welcome author and educator Sergio Troncoso at the Sergio Troncoso Branch Library . In 2014, the El Paso City Council voted unanimously to rename the Ysleta Branch Public Library in honor of Sergio Troncoso.  Now you can visit with Mr. Troncoso as he reads from his latest book A Peculiar Kind of Immigrant's Son . This event is free and open to the public.
