Image
The display case this month is featuring a collection of miniatures owned by Ernestina Kirker-Camp. She has several varied collections of objects and keepsakes, all of which are very unique and interesting.   This display will surely have you appreciating the detail of these miniature tea cups, tea pots, plates, and utensils. Come to Ysleta Branch and view this fine assemblage of porcelain.   Robert Ramirez

Paper Airplanes Over Ysleta!

Image
On January 25, 2012 I held my presentation on Paper Airplanes here at Ysleta Branch. The patrons in attendance, 45 in all, had a good time learning to fold paper into flying creations. The kids' imaginations were sparked as they saw all the different designs that were exhibited. All the displayed books on folding planes were checked out and taken home. Be looking for part II coming soon! Robert Ramirez.
