Metal Embossing/Repujado Returns to YS!

Image
The YS will host another class on how to create works of art with metal and paint and some imagination. Ysleta staff member, Gabby Flores, will be teaching this ancient art form known as Metal Embossing. In Spanish it is called Repujado and in French it is called Repousse. However it is referred to, it certainly means creating your own masterpiece and of course, lots of fun! Come to the Ysleta Branch Library on June 27, 2012 at 5:00pm for this great program. RR

Ysleta Branch Library held a class on Scrapbooking on May 23, 2012. Branch Manager, Aimee Camp taught this fun and creative class. Scrapbooking offers a way to document special times, people and interests for sharing with family & friends. Our patrons, young and old, enjoyed learning techniques on how to combine their photos, memorabilia, and artwork to create unique album journals.   RR RR
