LOWER VALLEY CHESS CLUB
        Is Coming to
   YSLETA BRANCH LIBRARY

Do you like to play Chess? Are you a beginner? Or a long time player? Or just want to improve your Chess playing skill? Then rejoice the LOWER VALLEY CHESS CLUB will start meeting here at YSLETA BRANCH LIBRARY on THURSDAYS 4:30pm – 6:45pm. The LOWER VALLEY CHESS CLUB is affiliated with the UNITED STATES CHESS FEDERATION, the national chess organization. Players of all ages and skill level are welcome. Come and learn to play chess or polish your skills. There will be chess matches every Thursday. Everything from blitz chess to a normal game will be available. In the near future ladder, quads, and swiss tournaments will be offered.

Author visit - Sergio Troncoso!

Join us this  Tuesday ,  November 5th  at  5 pm , as we welcome author and educator Sergio Troncoso at the Sergio Troncoso Branch Library . In 2014, the El Paso City Council voted unanimously to rename the Ysleta Branch Public Library in honor of Sergio Troncoso.  Now you can visit with Mr. Troncoso as he reads from his latest book A Peculiar Kind of Immigrant's Son . CREEPY CRAWLY STORY TIME!

Do you like bugs?  Do you like stories?  Do you like bugs, and stories, and crafts?  If so, join us here at the Sergio Troncoso Public Library for a very special creepy-crawly story time presented by the El Paso Zoo ! Like all library story times, this event is free and open to the public!  On Wednesday, October 9 at 2 pm here at the Sergio Troncoso Public Library, there will be  BUGS!
