Bark Painting at Ysleta Branch


As part of the Teen Summer Reading programming, patrons of Ysleta attended a class on June 14, 2012 where they learned Bark Painting. This is originally an Australian Aboriginal art form involving painting the interior of a strip of tree bark used for instructional and ceremonial purposes. As you can see our young patrons are quite artistic.
