Ysleta Wins the Energy Savings Challenge!

On May 16, 2012 the Ysleta Branch Library was officially congratulated for winning the Energy Reduction Plan Category of the Energy Savings Challenge for 2012. Ysleta staff members were treated to a free lunch and a re-useable mug as a reward for submitting the best energy savings plan. By adapting changes in our everyday actions and adjustment to our building and equipment, we were delighted to know that our plan was selected. Ysleta branch manager, Aimee Camp, was presented a certificate as recognition for the plan. The coming months will show the true measurement of our plans effects. Ysleta is pleased to be part of this effort.

Do you like bugs?  Do you like stories?  Do you like bugs, and stories, and crafts?  If so, join us here at the Sergio Troncoso Public Library for a very special creepy-crawly story time presented by the El Paso Zoo ! Like all library story times, this event is free and open to the public!  On Wednesday, October 9 at 2 pm here at the Sergio Troncoso Public Library, there will be  BUGS!
