Metal Embossing/Repujado Returns to YS!

The YS will host another class on how to create works of art with metal and paint and some imagination. Ysleta staff member, Gabby Flores, will be teaching this ancient art form known as Metal Embossing. In Spanish it is called Repujado and in French it is called Repousse. However it is referred to, it certainly means creating your own masterpiece and of course, lots of fun! Come to the Ysleta Branch Library on June 27, 2012 at 5:00pm for this great program.

Author visit - Sergio Troncoso!

Join us this  Tuesday ,  November 5th  at  5 pm , as we welcome author and educator Sergio Troncoso at the Sergio Troncoso Branch Library . In 2014, the El Paso City Council voted unanimously to rename the Ysleta Branch Public Library in honor of Sergio Troncoso.  Now you can visit with Mr. Troncoso as he reads from his latest book A Peculiar Kind of Immigrant's Son . CREEPY CRAWLY STORY TIME!

Do you like bugs?  Do you like stories?  Do you like bugs, and stories, and crafts?  If so, join us here at the Sergio Troncoso Public Library for a very special creepy-crawly story time presented by the El Paso Zoo ! Like all library story times, this event is free and open to the public!  On Wednesday, October 9 at 2 pm here at the Sergio Troncoso Public Library, there will be  BUGS!
