Halloween Party at Ysleta

The Ysleta Branch Library will be hosting a Halloween party on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 2pm-5pm.  Fun and activities are to include a costume contest, a coloring contest, door prizes, video games, crafts, and snacks. The movie matinee at 3:00pm will feature “Alice in Wonderland” starring Johnny Depp. It is going to be a spooktacular event so kids dress up in your best costumes and join us for the celebration!

CREEPY CRAWLY STORY TIME!

Do you like bugs?  Do you like stories?  Do you like bugs, and stories, and crafts?  If so, join us here at the Sergio Troncoso Public Library for a very special creepy-crawly story time presented by the El Paso Zoo ! Like all library story times, this event is free and open to the public!  On Wednesday, October 9 at 2 pm here at the Sergio Troncoso Public Library, there will be  BUGS! We'll read stories about bugs, make bug crafts, and visit with some real live insects!   See you this Wednesday!

Author visit - Sergio Troncoso!

Join us this  Tuesday ,  November 5th  at  5 pm , as we welcome author and educator Sergio Troncoso at the Sergio Troncoso Branch Library . In 2014, the El Paso City Council voted unanimously to rename the Ysleta Branch Public Library in honor of Sergio Troncoso.  Now you can visit with Mr. Troncoso as he reads from his latest book A Peculiar Kind of Immigrant's Son . This event is free and open to the public.
