Ysleta Branch Library continues to offer free computer training classes to our patrons. In the month of April, YS will host "Introduction to the Internet". This class will take place every Wednesday at 5:30 pm starting on 4/2/2014 and continuing on the 9th, 16th, 23rd and the 30th. It is on a first come first served basis till classroom fills up, no sign-up is required. Keyboard and mouse skills are required. Discover the world of the Internet!

Wednesday, April 2, 2014, 11:00 am, Ysleta's Ready to Read program will be about Dinosaurs! Kids love dinos so join us for this favored storytime and learn about these prehistoric animals.

 The Ready to Read storytime will celebrate April Fool's Day on the 1st at the Ysleta Branch Library. The fun starts at 11am and then again at 3pm. Hear a story, make a wormy apple!

Every Friday at 4:00 pm the Legos Connect program takes place in the Ysleta Branch Library. Legos is an interactive learning construction toy that focuses on creativity and design. Legos are provided, no need to bring your own; just bring the kids. They will enjoy this fun filled program!

Teen Hangout at the Ysleta Branch Library will be a fun and favorite, Duct Tape Crafts! Teens join us on March 27, 2014 at 4:30 pm and exercise your artistic talent and imagination.

Located within the Ysleta Branch Library is the Friendly Owl Bookstore.  The Friendly Owl is pleased to announce a Half Price Book Sale that will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014. This sale last all day from 10 am to 5 pm. with many varied titles and subjects for your selection.

Ribbit! Ribbit!..Come and have some froggie fun. Ysleta Branch is going to have another storytime for you. Join us on Wednesday March 26, 2014 at 11:00 am for a froggie story and craft.

It's a jungle out there! Come create a jungle creature mask on March 29, 2014 here at the Ysleta Branch Library. This storytime will be held at 11:00 am and again at 3:00 pm. Join us.

Teen Tech Week is here at Ysleta Branch Library! On Thursday, March 13, 2014 Teen Hangout will present a fun and creative program on how to craft a Book Trailer with technology. The class will start on Thursday at 4:30 pm.

The subject for the Ready to Read program on March 12, 2014 will be, Pets! Learn about different animals that become a loyal companion and friend. This storytime will start at 11:00 am here at the Ysleta Branch Library.

On Tuesday, March 11, 2014, the Ready to Read Program will be celebrating St. Patricks Day. Come out,  bring the wee lads and lassies to the Ysleta Branch Library and listen to stories about shamrocks and leprechauns! Make your very own leprechaun hat!  

Ysleta Branch Library offers free computer classes to all our patrons. An Introduction to Microsoft Word 2010 will be taught every Wednesday in the month of March. Join us on the 5th, 12th, 19th and the 26th at 5:30 pm for this very informative classroom series.

Being a bully isn't nice. The Ysleta Branch Library Ready to Read program will focus on this topic. Hear stories on how to deal with bullies on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 11:00am.
